Is this program only for university students?
Not necessarily. This program is offered to outsiders as well, along with university students.
Is BIC offering any stipend?
No, BIC does not offer any stipend.
How many members are allowed in a single team?
There is no limit of members working in a single team. However, only three members will be allowed to sit and work in BIC’s incubation space.
Is it necessary to be a graduate/student for joining BIC as a startup?
Not necessarily. The applicant may be a non-graduate, a student or an entrepreneur. However, the applicant must be above 18 years of age.
What would be the period of incubation?
The period of incubation will be six months to one year depending upon the progress of the startup during the given span of time.
Does BIC charge any fee from startups for Incubation?
BIC charges Rs.1500 fee from ‘alumni applicants’ and Rs.3000-5000 from ‘outsider applicants’. However, the top three applicants selected by the Jury would begin their startup for free.
My application has been submitted but I didn’t get any confirmation email yet, whom should I contact?

Can I work on my startup at home rather than coming to BIC after my startup is selected?
No. The team is required to maintain 70% attendance in order to continue working on the startup.
Is there any age limit to who can apply for your startup programs?
The age limit to apply for startup program is 18 or above.
Can I apply with multiple ideas?
Yes, the applicant may apply with multiple ideas. However, the Jury at Incubation Idea Competition will select a single idea to begin a startup for the applicant or the team.
I have a business idea but I need some guidance before I apply for incubation. How can you help?
If you have a business idea, kindly contact BIC at the given email or phone number. Before the start of Incubation, a team from BIC department would be available for providing guidance to the applicants
What happens once we apply?
Once you apply, a selection criteria will be held and Jury will select the final candidates.
Are male applicants allowed to apply for startups?
No. only female applicants are allowed in Incubation startup program.
